Size guide

When choosing footwear, please pay close attention to both size and fit (model). Well-fitting shoes are not only more comfortable, but also more durable. If the size is too small (e.g. your toes are cramped in the toe box), the shoes may wear out faster.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FOOT CORRECTLY

👉 Grab a sheet of paper (A4), a pencil, and a ruler.

Place the paper against a wall on a flat floor and stand on it with your full weight, barefoot.
Trace around your foot.
Measure the distance from the heel to the tip of the longest toe, and use right angles to measure the width.
Compare your measurements to the size chart below ⬇️. Add a toe allowance of 0.5–1.2 cm ( 0.2 – 0.5 inches) to find your ideal shoe size.

Tip: Measure both feet. When choosing your size, always go with the larger foot — for most people, the left is slightly bigger.

Standard or Wide?

Bohempia barefoot shoes come in two width options:

STANDARD – for narrow to regular feet, or for those new to barefoot footwear.

WIDE (marked with a “W”, e.g. 38W) – for wider feet or more experienced barefoot enthuiasts.

TOE ALLOWANCE

Why add extra space?

Barefoot shoes are designed to let your toes move freely and naturally. We recommend adding 0.5–1.2 cm (0.2–0.5 inches) to your foot length when choosing your size — this extra space is called the toe allowance. Be careful not to add too much — the shoes should still fit securely and not slip off while walking.

Example: If your foot measures 25 cm, choose a shoe with an internal length of approximately 25.7–26.2 cm.

FELIX vegan unisex sneakers are made of hemp canvas, thanks to which they are breathable, highly absorbent and also antimicrobial. The hemp canvas from which the sneakers are made is natural, sustainable and ecological. It can naturally carry off moisture and is also odor resistant. It is the strongest natural fabric, so it gives the sneakers durability and longevity. And did you know that hemp saves water? During its growth and processing, it uses only 1/20 the amount of water than standard cotton.

The stylish FELIX sneakers have all the advantages of barefoot shoes - they are fully flexible and light, have a thin slip sole with zero heel rise and enough room for your toes. Shoe care

It is always good to waterproof the shoes before wearing them for the first time. The impregnation liquid is absorbed into the shoe, making its surface resistant to the external environment, preserving the color and extending the life of the shoe. Impregnation prevents not only moisture, but also penetration of dirt.To ensure water resistance, we strongly recommend waterproofing the footwear properly and regularly with common impregnation products. Before waterproofing, remove dirt and dust from the shoes and let them dry completely.

We recommend cleaning your shoes with a soft brush or damp cloth. Allow the shoes to dry sufficiently before putting them on. Do not place your shoes near direct heat sources. Do not wash in the washing machine. Colors may fade over time.

I ordered the Felix in Ocean Blue in the wide version as my first pair from Bohempia. I am very pleased with the fit as I have wide feet and struggle finding the right shoes even in the barefoot-shoe-world. The sole feels bigger and softer as my Belenka ones. The style of Felix ist really cool and the colors are true to the picture. I ordered from Germany and the process was really easy. 100% recommend.
