When choosing footwear, please pay close attention to both size and fit (model). Well-fitting shoes are not only more comfortable, but also more durable. If the size is too small (e.g. your toes are cramped in the toe box), the shoes may wear out faster.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FOOT CORRECTLY

👉 Grab a sheet of paper (A4), a pencil, and a ruler.

Place the paper against a wall on a flat floor and stand on it with your full weight, barefoot.
Trace around your foot.
Measure the distance from the heel to the tip of the longest toe, and use right angles to measure the width.
Compare your measurements to the size chart below ⬇️. Add a toe allowance of 0.5–1.2 cm ( 0.2 – 0.5 inches) to find your ideal shoe size.

Tip: Measure both feet. When choosing your size, always go with the larger foot — for most people, the left is slightly bigger.

Standard or Wide?

Bohempia barefoot shoes come in two width options:

STANDARD – for narrow to regular feet, or for those new to barefoot footwear.

WIDE (marked with a “W”, e.g. 38W) – for wider feet or more experienced barefoot enthuiasts.

TOE ALLOWANCE

Why add extra space?

Barefoot shoes are designed to let your toes move freely and naturally. We recommend adding 0.5–1.2 cm (0.2–0.5 inches) to your foot length when choosing your size — this extra space is called the toe allowance. Be careful not to add too much — the shoes should still fit securely and not slip off while walking.

Example: If your foot measures 25 cm, choose a shoe with an internal length of approximately 25.7–26.2 cm.

Minimalist barefoot low-top sneakers KOLDA are inspired by the original lace-up plimsoll shoes. A great piece of casual footwear that everyone should have in his/her wardrobe, regardless of age, gender and body type.

PETA-certified vegan barefoot shoes with a 100% hemp canvas upper, 4 mm thin, natural rubber outsole and removable 4 mm thin insole, supporting good posture and absorbing shock with every step.

Hemp canvas is a natural and eco-friendly textile. It is antibacterial, naturally moisture-wicking, and odor resistant. As the strongest natural fabric, it guarantees durability and longevity. Hemp saves water; it uses only 1/20th the amount of water as standard cotton to grow and process.

KOLDA barefoot sneaker is breathable, super-comfy and sustainable footwear. It meets all the characteristics of a barefoot shoe: it is fully flexible, lightweight, has a very thin sole with zero heel rise, and plenty of room for your toes. Shoe care

It is always good to waterproof the shoes before wearing them for the first time. The impregnation liquid is absorbed into the shoe, making its surface resistant to the external environment, preserving the color and extending the life of the shoe. Impregnation prevents not only moisture, but also penetration of dirt.To ensure water resistance, we strongly recommend waterproofing the footwear properly and regularly with common impregnation products. Before waterproofing, remove dirt and dust from the shoes and let them dry completely.

We recommend cleaning your shoes with a soft brush or damp cloth. Allow the shoes to dry sufficiently before putting them on. Do not place your shoes near direct heat sources. Do not wash in the washing machine. Colors may fade over time.

These are my second pair of barefoot shoes from Bohempia and I am enjoying them. They are comfy and stylish which I was having a hard time finding. My only complaint is that the shoes are loose around my ankles. I had to add some padding. I would like to see an option with padding around the ankles for those with skinnier ankles.

I’m — and especially my feet are soo pleased with these nice shoes! Laid back and simple, yet stylish and so easy to combine with several outfits. And, above all, just as comfy as i could wish for! :) I have the tan/off white and the black/white ones and am soo grateful for finally having found some breathable and, thus, even more comfier barefoot sneakers without compromising in quality and style! Thanks a bunch, dear Bohempia Team!
